All resources developed so far for UAM are made available here under copyleft conditions; for noncommercial purposes.  In brief, these conditions are as follows -
1. Universal Active Math and Navnirmiti Learning Foundation should be specifically acknowledged.
2.  We welcome modifications and improvements of these materials. Modified materials should also be made freely available under copyleft conditions. We would appreciate receiving a copy of such modified materials.

UAM uses two step pedagogy for learning by doing and learning by understanding.

Step 1 – Children ‘do’ activities in familiar language of things and actions. While doing it they understand the concept.

Step 2 – This understanding is then systematically translated into the language of numbers and symbols, the alphanumeric language.

Use Teachers’ Manuals for step 1. Use Workbooks for step 2.

Teachers’ manuals give a systematic sequence of activities considering the concept construction sequence for mathematics learning.

Workbooks help for systematic and step by step translation into alphanumeric language. Workbooks help the learning process.

Assessments give sample diagnostic assessments; in practical, mental math and written forms.

Bridge course (Ganit Setu) is for the children of upper primary schools (class 6 to 8) to refresh their earlier concepts. Bridge course also has teachers’manual and workbook.

Parents can also use the activities and workbooks at home.

Most videos are taken in actual classroom situations where UAM is being implemented.

Presentations explain the pedagogy, systems and their importance.
